Pandit Narendra Mishra is a renowned Sitar player, hailing from a famous family of musicians from Varanasi.
He started his training in sitar playing at a very early age under the tutelage of his father Pt. Mannu Lal Mishra and completed further training under Sitar Maestro Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan.
At the age of ten he gave his fist performance and thereafter he achieved great success and was rewarded with prestigious awards of Surmani In Mumbai
His talent was reflected in his dedicated work and devotion towards classical sitar playing.
He gained a first class ‘A’ grade artist award from Akashwani and Doordarshan. He also holds a senior diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
